Sunday my moms good friend Jean and her daughter Elizabeth threw me a shower! It was so sweet of them, and everything turned out perfectly. . . the food was delicious, the decorations were oh so pretty, the weather was sunny and breezy, the champagne was flowing, and the guests were amazing! We had so much fun. To be honest I was nervous going into the shower–who likes that amount of attention on themselves? People watch you open presents (and Jean got some good/interesting pictures of me doing just that. . . stay tuned for reasons I need to practice my faces by September), you play games, its a lot of pressure. But everyone there was so sweet, and my sister did the games- she decided to be nice to me (thank you lil dis). And everyone was so so generous! We got some marvelous stuff. I can officially cook for mike, make him coffee in the mornings, have clean towels for a month, pour him his nightly glass of red-wine, and we need to start entertaining so we can use all the cake-stands, salad bowls, beverage dispensers, platters, and dishes we got too. Oh, and Mike and I need to move so we have somewhere to store it all-his house inst big enough for the both of us and all our wedding presents (mass organization is going to be the name of the game, and i cant wait. Organization is my specialty. Can anyone say Container Store?!).
The table set up. . . I love the white folding chairs!
Everyone had a little poof of flowers with their name on it as their place cards. . so cute!
LOVED the flowers. . . they look so fresh!
Me and my mom. . . and sierra. Dont forget sierra.
Sisters. . . sisters. . . there were never such devoted sisters. Caring, sharing-every little thing that we are wearing (no seriously, Nicole steals my clothes).
This is Pat. . . my future mother in law!
These lovely ladies are the ones behind the shower. I cant say thank you enough! It was so much fun!
