This weekends biggest moment of joy? Going to the post office and getting every last invitation in the mail (except for my brothers. . . which I have stolen to show off. Sorry Shaun and Michelle, one day I’ll give it back so you can cherish it forever, and then re-create it for your wedding). It felt beyond wonderful to get all our hard work, sweat, and tears off to people (side note- by “our” hard work, sweat, and tears-i really mean my mom and sister. Because letsbehonest they did most of the work). By Tuesday people started getting their invitations in the mail, and guess what, they started calling to tell us how much they loved them! Its such a good feeling. . . Jackie (our all things wedding guru) took my idea and ran with it, and they are simply perfect for our wedding-didn’t she do a magnificent job??! They set the tone for the event perfectly, and they ooze of our personality. . . Classy and casual (which I’d like to believe is me to a tee, so dont bust my bubble). Alright, ready for a peak? I’m loving and keeping my classy and cute wedding invitations!
This is how the invitation comes in the mail. . . in a cute little box! Which also required us to fill out customs forms for all our Canadian Guests!
Open the lid and you’ll discover the actual invite! And a sand-dolla-holla!
Look how cute the rehearsal dinner invitation is. . . its also in the BOX (i love the box!)
We’re inviting everyone to a sunday brunch after the wedding. . . because food is necessary after a long night of drinking and dancing (which there will be plenty of. . . and 80’s music. . . and waltzing if channing and i have any say in things).
