This weekend Mike and I headed to Claremont to help my parents with their little problem. Their little problem is this- the UPS man now knows my mom by name, and white boxes seem to have taken over their house. Our wedding presents were all shipped to my parents (lucky them), so Saturday we had a little BBQ with the in-laws to have a present opening party. I have NEVER opened so many presents in one sitting IN MY LIFE. it was fabulously exhausting. . . and i learned a few very valuable lessons- our friends and family are way too generous, we’re ridiculously spoiled, i love everything that comes in a Kate Spade box, and we have to start entertaining. Sunday we packed up the cars, came home, and unpacked. And I must admit we did a fabulous job about getting it done-ish. The house doesn’t look like a Crate & Barrel hurricane anymore. . . except for the massive amount of empty boxes in the garage. Mike and I cant say thank you enough to everyone for being amazing, and getting us such amazing loot. We feel so so loved! Now who wants to come over for dinner??
here’s a peak at the before. . .
A peak at the after. . .
These pillows are one of my favorite presents. . . along with monogrammed sheets (because EVERY married couple needs monogrammed sheets!)
