hello erin »

A real princess. . .

When I was a little girl I wanted a canopy bed more than anything. . . A princess bed to crawl into, closing the fabric and making  the rest of the world disappear. Instead, what did I get? Mosquito netting. . . being on a safari, and being a princess is NOT the same. But that mosquito netting stayed. It stayed through elementary school, through junior high, through high school, and dare I admit it even stayed through part of college. The day finally came for me to get rid of my faux princess bed. While staying in Capri my childhood wish came true. I got a REAL PRINCESS BED. And yes, I forced Mike to close the fabric around us every night-because letsbehonest he’s my prince. . . and he treats me like a princess.

    Sara - Best.post.ever.

    I love it!!

I had a canopy, but I couldn’t close the fabric. I tried to pin sheets to it… and it worked… until my mom busted my butt.

And then there was the time that I fitted a fitted sheet over the 4 posters… and tried to pin sheets on that… I think I broke something that time.

    Oops.
