baby shower!

So let me start off by saying I sucked at taking pictures of the shower. seriously, was so distracted making sure everything was perfect that I failed at getting shots of like half of what went on. . . so trust me when i say that a. there were pink bows EVERYWHERE and b. it was adorable. This past Sunday I hosted a baby shower for my sister in law Suzanne. . . in my bedroom. No, seriously. It’s the biggest room in the house, and since it looked like rain we made some baby-shower magic in the bedroom. It was my first time entertaining as a married woman, and I wanted to put my best foot forward, so everything needed to be perfect! My mom came and helped like a champ in the kitchen (where I do not excel), and she was AMAZING. Seriously. The shower would have been one burnt disaster if she hadn’t come. Instead I stuck to what I know best-crafts and bows. We took fabric, iron on backing, and stencils and everyone created their own onezie for the baby, we got some CUTE ones-from elephants, to hearts, to bikini’s and surfboards-this little girl is going to be one cute little lady. Also, I now have 48 more mason jars- SO don’t be surprised if you now see them EVERYWHERE.

And here are the onezies:
