After getting my make up done with the fabulous Jane Kim I sat at a dive bar deep in San Francisco and was nervous. . . like had to have a cocktail at lunch in order to loosen me up otherwise I would have frozen and not spoken a word nervous. Yes, I had exchanged emails, tweets, and facebook posts with this sweet girl- but hadn’t met her in person- and was supposed to get portraits done–by myself. No Mike there to loosen me up, or to steal the shot (did you see him jumping with balloons during engagement pictures? he’s adorable). The moment I saw Gladys I knew it was going to be OK. She has a smile that makes me want to smile. . and keep on smiling. She’s sweet, and charming, and incredibly easy and fun to be around. And even after I ate it on the mountainside she didn’t point and laugh. I seriously want to hang out with this girl and make her be my friend (in a nice way). . . I LOVE MY PICTURES. I’m not even sure I can say that loud enough. They’re beyond what I could have ever imagined, and she perhaps captured me perfectly (and my love for red-bull even more perfectly).
Head on over to her blog HERE to check me out. . .
oh, and expect to see a lot more of these pictures flying around here in the near future!
