ruby & mike- married.

A while back I emailed a girl named Ala and demanded she be my friend. I forced her to go to lunch with me, and talk to me, and then set up a date to see Never Say Never with me (a date we both broke). . . When she texted me asking to help he shoot a wedding I just about died with excitement and horror- because you see Ala is uber talented, and uber sweet, and insanely cool (she’s way hipper than i am. and can rock hats in a way i can only DREAM of). Then came the day of Ruby & Mike’s wedding.  I met Ala in the lobby of Terranea and instantly felt like it was going to be ok, and that she wasn’t going to hate me and think I was awfully un-cool. The day went off without a hitch, I learned more then I can explain, and got some amazing pictures to boot. Ready for those pictures?

Ruby looked divine. . . straight up divine.

Meet Ala. . . who has the most fabulous bangs of anyone i know.

If Ruby was this excited about portraits I can only imagine how fun the reception must have been. . .

So Ala brought along heart shaped balloons. . . to a field. Just another reason I adore the girl.

  • GORGEOUS!!! I’ve been dying to see these pics! I love the pic of Ala with her bridesmaids – they all look so sassy!! And I ADORE the heart shaped balloons, too. Can we please force her to be my friend, too?
