MIA and a sick doodle. . .

You see this sad sad puppy face?

This is what the doodle has looked like (but even SADDER) the past few days. He gave us quite the scare early this week and was sent to the animal hospital for a few days. Needless to say, we were a wreck. Total and complete train-wrecks and eight car pile-up wrecks, after all tucker is seriously, and sadly enough the center of our universe. He had a blockage of some sort, and needed lots of fluid from an IV in order to get everything un-blocked. Thank goodness they didn’t end up having to operate.  Pretty sure I would have stalked the Hermosa Animal Hospital (whom we ADORE) like a crazed mad-woman. But I’m happy to report that the doodle is back home, much happier, and doing well. His new diet of chicken and rice has him thinking he gets table scraps for every meal- pretty sure he’s in heaven (and yes, Mike is considering switching his diet full time. He is indeed THAT puppy parent).

In other news, I’ve been horribly MIA from the blogging world. With no good excuse. What have I been doing you ask? Well, I’ve been a crazed baby-nursery-machine. No joke. I have TWO restoration hardware baby & child registries. . . yes two. One for a boy, and one for a girl. Why you ask? So we can properly plan, measure, and create the perfect space for our unborn babe. We don’t even know the gender of our child yes and yet I know precisely what furniture will be gracing the nursery.  Oh, and it gets better. Some of the nursery items are customizable, and since we even have names picked out- the monograms are set.  I think it’s my last ditch attempt to have control before the baby is born and I’m rocketed straight out of my controlled comfort zone.

I promise to try to be better. . I mean now that the nursery is set, i have ample time for blogging.

  • Glad Tuck-a-luck is doing better!! He’s a sweet pup and we need him to be normal!!

And I’m pretty much in love with RH, so keep on doing what you’re doing… 🙂

  • Tucker looks SO sad! We are so glad that he is on the mend…Wrigley was really worried! And I LOVE the nursery furniture….both of them!
