hello erin »

pumpkin patch, pumpkin patch. . lookin’ for pumpkin in a pumpkin patch.

As soon as I found out Mike and I were pumpkin patchin’ it up last night, my excitement bubbled over and lead me on a search to find a pumpkin patch in our area. And while my google search did not successfully find us a pumpkin patch, I did manage to find a you-tube video of elementary kids singing a song called the pumpkin patch. And its so so catchy. And has hand motions. Which I have memorized. We ended up finally finding a pumpkin patch (thank goodness my hand-motions didnt have to go to waste), and got a wheel-barrow full of pumpkins. I rescued an adorable looking green pumpkin, while Mike opted for a more traditional good ol’ fashioned carving pumpkin. The pumpkin patch was filled with pumpkins of all shapes, & colors and a TON of children. I actually think we were the only ones there sans kiddos. I officially can’t wait for pumpkin carving night– and hopefully there’s another catchy jingle out there all about carving pumpkins.
