hello erin »

walktails, balloons, and a pretend city.

Well. Another weekend come and gone, and another weekend full of FUN. Our weekend started out with a long walk and huge walktails (Popsicle & milk for the babe). Mine was a delicious blend of white wine blended with frozen strawberries & peaches. . . and it was the PERFECT way to start the weekend. Lex also discovered she can walk the dog from her car- which annoys the pup to no end.

Saturday my sister came over to play- popsicles were definitely involved, and so were balloons! We all went out to dinner that night with another family- miraculously both kids behaved (the balloons probably helped) and lex managed to polish off not one but TWO kids meals. Apparently we’re growth spurting again.

Sunday we braved the 405 and went to pretend city. Its probably the cutest childrens museum around- its literally an entire city. . a miniature city for kids! From a grocery store where they can shop, a taco restaurant where they can build play tacos, working cash registers, police cars, a gas station, a beach, a post office, you name it-they have it! We LOVED it (and i wish i had more pictures- but alas we were way too busy having fun). Then we did lunch with my brother, his fiance, and my sister. Lex decided it was a working-lunch and totally brought along her lap top. Needless to say i was sad when the weekend ended!!
