beer me.

We’re all still recovering from this weekend’s debauchery. Yes, the weekend was so fun we need multiple days of recovery. Saturday we hosted mike’s 30th birthday party. Just a small gathering of a few close friends, a pizza truck, and a whole lotta beer. No but really, a LOT of beer. and drinking games using mason jars instead of red solo cups (now THATS growing up folks).

Mike requested this party be as simple as possible. So we had just about zero decorations, let the pizza truck do all the work (and we’re so big time that the same pizza people had their second truck at north west’s baptism the same night. who knew kanye & kim shared our love of pizza?), and just relaxed and had a blast. That being said- i have literally zero pictures from the actual party (which is probably for the best. i’m sure none of us were very pretty a few hours in)- just a few shots before the partay started.

The invitations were custom coasters from the lovely people at Product 80.

For favors we sent everyone home with a 4 pack of beer & a bottle opener.

Decor was beer, and tags saying what type of craft beer we had. . .

and we got super fancy and got “beer bands” so everyone could keep track of their drink.

Here are the disney sisters.

And me with the man of the hour.

It was the perfect party! Simple, low key, relaxed, and a ton of F-U-N. i literally ate 30 slices of pizza- which is why i didnt wear my party pants (i would have definitely needed to bust out the maternity jeans).

  • SO fun! I love the beer bands!

  • Love it! We do “beer tasting” for our St. Pat’s party, although, its less tasting and more drinking, heavily.

  • *filing this party away for Jim’s 30th birthday*

Seriously. I’m going to copy all of your plans. This is awesome.
