We happen to be big big dodger fans up in here (up in here). So there was mucho excitement when they won this round of playoffs. Mike and I were lucky enough to be at the winning game, and man o man it was a good one! Not only did they win. . . but i got cotton candy. 99.9% sure the best part of baseball games is cotton candy, hot dogs, and margaritas (the stadium happens to serve one mean marg).
I’m sure everyone by now has noticed lex’s HUGE obsession with rain boots (I think I say rainboots in this blog more than any other word). She loves em, and we love how cute she looks in em. We’re being forced to retire her purple ones (damn those growing tootsies). She has pink ones–but i couldn’t resist. These silver puppies are on their way to our doorstep. They really are the perfect boot for fall/winter/spring/summer.
RIP purple boots.
My good friend julie (of TWELVE YEARS!) was in town all the way from michigan with her adorable son & her handsome husband. We all went to the aquarium (with our other good friend heather) and the kids had a blast exploring together! Although now i miss her even more. . . Total bummer. Looks like i’ll just need to trip to michgian ASAP!
Last time i recommended pants i got a lot of slack for it (but in all honesty they arent the most flattering pant). Well let me introduce you to the only pants i ever wear. The Minnie Pant. Oh how i love these. They’re perfectly stretchy, have a comfy waistband, and are pretty stylish. I own them in every color. . . and wear them daily. Its not often i find a pant i dont ditch for sweats the minute i walk through the door. Major score.
Someone (coughjuliecough) bought lex lip gloss. And now i cant pry it out of her hands. I swear she has the shiniest lips ever at this point. Its crazy how she knows what to do with it and tries to put it on me (i also have shiny lips, and chin, and probably nose). I swear this kid is SUCH a girl.
