Lex and i signed up for an art class- and its been awesome so far. We go every tuesday and get to paint & play- and then someone else has to clean it all up. We’ve been getting all sorts of fancy-smancy ideas from art class. . . and some things are SO easy and perfect to do at home. This one is pretty genius (especially for boy mamas!) so we had to share! All you need is paint (washable paint preferably), paper plates, and toy cars.
Run the cars through the paint and then onto the paper. BOOM. Fancy smancy art work!
Here’s lex’s masterpeice on the fridge.
EHayes - Awesome idea! I might breakout the finger paints today… I usually dont feel like dealing with the mess… or the inevitable bath that will immediately follow or her trying to taste it, but it’s time. 18months tomorrow, I’ve been holding out for too long!
Colleen Sullivan - Ooooo!!! Thanks so much for sharing 🙂 This is a genius idea. I think Owen would love this, or he might freak out if his beloved cars get all dirty with paint, but we’re going to try it anyway!!
Courtney - Oooh keep the great ideas coming! I’ve got them all stored away for when Aria is older.
Megan @ HNL - Henry Hugglemonster RAWRSOME!? Painting class sounds like so much fun and even more fun since they clean it all up!
