hello erin »

tiny dancer.

We’ve had three dance classes so far. To be honest, i wasnt expecting much AT ALL from my eighteen month old babe. I was convinced she’d be all over the place, have two left feet, and not pay any attention. To my complete and happy surprise this kid LOVES dance class. She sits still, she imitates the teacher, she loves performing in front of the other kids, and she’s adorable to boot. This class is amazing at teaching the kids to wait their turn, have patience (to put those tap shoes on!), and how to watch and do what the teacher does. Its seriously ADORABLE, and we look forward to dance class thrusdays every week. . . we even catch lex constantly practicing!! Will lex love every class? Definitely not. Will she grow up to be a prima ballerina? Probably not. Either way I’ve done my fair share of dance moms research (thank you lifetime!) and will be prepared either way. The major downside to dance class is the battle we have every morning because lex just wants to wear her tu-tu.

Colleen Sullivan - What a CUTIE PIE she is in that tutu! How many tutus does she own, by the way? I seriously am considering dressing Owen up in a tutu and taking dance classes together. It looks like so much fun! I seriously need to get pregnant with a girl.

Jamie || Hello Little Scout - Could she be any cuter!? And that tutu… I’m dying!

Courtney - I need to get Abigail in some sort of dance class, stat. This is too adorable.

Last week, Abigail insisted on wearing her dress up ballerina dress to Target. Then the cashier asked her to do a twirl. Kid you not, this kid did a perfect pirouette and then did an arabesque on the side of the counter. How in the heck did she learn this? I do not have the foggiest idea.

EHayes - Could this kid be any cuter? And seriously, the accessories.. how does she love them so much. I get 15 minutes before they are gone. And I love how much she loves this class, it’s so cute! Maybe we’ll start up gymnastics at 2 when I’m able to actually leave the house with a toddler and infant. We are definitely doing Lil’ Kickers soccer in the summer, they focus on the same thing as your dance class… waiting turns, following along, etc.

Courtney - Oh geez, that is the cutest! And, I might add hers is the fanciest tutu. I hope Aria wants to do dance class one day.

Jenny Collier - Love these images! You are a woman after my own heart…taking your big camera into the class. Do the other women stare at you like you’re strange? Because they do in Ella’s class. šŸ™‚

Courtney B - I just DIED over these pictures… SO CUTE! This totally confirms the idea that I want to put Mia in dance around 18 months. This makes me really excited to see her in a tutu šŸ™‚
