hello erin »

weekends are for pumpkins.

This weekend lex hit the pumpkin patch. And girlfriend hit it hard. Saturday i hosted a sprinkle for a sweet friend who’s due with a boy thanksgiving (and i took like zero pictures of the actual sprinkle. insert sad face here. just imagine a donut tower. and an adorable pregnant girl. And a few more pregnant mamas because it seems to be in the water around here), so lex ended up being babysat by my in-laws. Who took her to the pumpkin patch- the same pumpkin patch we love. So sunday evening we hit it again. I’m officially obsessed with this age- lex can get over the top excited about things like pumpkins, scarecrows, animals, and hay. She loved the pumpkin patch- which is why we didn’t get one single picture of her looking at the camera and smiling- she was a busy little bee with a lot to accomplish (basically she wanted to pick up and move every single piece of hay. and try to pick up every single pumpkin all while feeding the animals in the petting zoo). Ready for pumpkin, hay, and lex picture overload?

i think she was afraid we’d take away her beloved pumpkin? look at the pain in that face.

of course she found something to climb. . .

this kid is officially not afraid of animals eating her hands.

hello pumpkins!!
