weekend are for friends and sandy adventures.

This weekend was fantastic! We got our fill of pre-thanksgiving deliciousness and got to visit with lots of friends. Saturday started off with a visit to the tile shop where i think we picked out the flooring.t  The bathroom gods were shining down on us- and we found something we both like (i swear renovating is the biggest marriage test). Lex found the tile & marble store simply riveting and wanted to crawl everywhere. . . it was SO random (and SO annoying. and SO dirty). We then headed to ‘friendsgiving’ where we had the most delicious friend turkey (don’t worry. half the men were firefighters. so it was a safe process) and i ate my weight in brussel sprouts- which i never thought id be able to say. Sunday proved to be an extremely productive day! We cleaned out every nook and cranny of storage space AND we got to have dinner and say good-bye to a sweet family who’s leaving the south bay for colder climates in northern california.

The tile store was filthy. Yet oh, so fun. 2013-11-24_0001

Pre-Friendsgiving fun with the babe. 2013-11-24_0002

I’m not sure we left any sand at the beach. 99.9% sure it all ended up in her boots and she was literally stuffing it in her pockets.

I can promise you no swimming was actually involved (but not for lex’s lack of trying). 2013-11-24_0005

HAPPY SHORT WEEK!!

  • Can’t wait to see the new bathroom!!!

  • Looks like a wonderful weekend! YAY for a short week! WHOOOOOP! 🙂

  • That is too funny that Lex was stuffing sand in her pockets. Worst part of coming home from the beach is the beach that doesn’t want to leave you!

  • I’m DYING over that picture of Lex in the sand! She’s so beautiful!!!!

  • Jenny

what is it with kid playing in dirty stores like that?! Callie always want to climb everywhere at Home Depot! I love the photos of Lex at the beach!!
