For weeks my moms been talking about this baby-blogger-gift-exchange-secret-santa thingy and asking me all sorts of questions about what she thinks an uber-fashionable 6 month old would like- to which i responded a circle scarf, headband, and a baby-doll duh (your welcome harper. i promise you’ll get lots of comments on that scarf and more attention from strangers than you know what to do with while your moms wheeling you around the grocery store).
My mom got really excited one day when a box arrived in the mail with your moms name on it. I was kinda excited- because clearly most of the boxes that come to our door contain something super cool for me- but i wasnt fully prepared for the awesome-ness that i was in store for. First of all the gold confetti instantly caught my attention (as most shiny things do). But the rest of the box was just as amazing and I swear we need to be real life friends ASAP. My mom has this thing about messes in the house- so including a personalized place mat along with the homemade peppermint play-dough was seriously genius (also that stuff is the bomb. give my mom the recipe so i can enjoy it year round), I know you’re a boy- but knowing about my serious love of all things mermaids, dress up, hello kitty, and birdies was fully on-point. You must have consulted a few girls on the playground.
I swear i can sit and play with the puzzle FOREVER. my mom swears only for 10 minutes at a time- but i dont think she can tell time. It feels like i sit there for hours matching outfits.
The mermaid book has the best pictures ever. I love mermaids, im not sure if you knew this- but i turn into a mermaid every night at bath time. It’s pretty awesome.
I can’t say thank you enough for my awesome box of fun owen. Your the best secret santa a girl could ask for!
