hello erin »

perfectly girly playroom wall.

Now that we have a good start on the playroom i’m more determined than ever to get ‘er done. The process has been slow up until now- but now that i have a fire under me i’m SO excited to start getting stuff hung on the walls and fill in the huge gaps we have. First up i wanted to get the gallery wall above lex’s bookcase (toycase?) filled in. Its a huge wall- and just looked kinda empty- i’m also convinced it’s bareness made the room echo. I hunted and scavenged homegoods to find a good mix of frames and a perfectly pink mirror to fill out the wall. I love how girly and perfect it turned out. If you couldn’t tell we’re a picture-happy family and any excuse to display pictures is something i’m fully on board with.

Another thing i knew i wanted- a canvas for the wall.  I swear i’m the last person to the canvas party. Yes i’ve known about them- but never actually ordered one until easy canvas prints sent me one of our favorite pictures from our holiday session. I feel like with some canvas prints its easy to spend an arm and leg- so its hard to find the balance of quality AND price- but easy canvas prints is super reasonable, really high quality, and better yet- they have awesome coupon codes.

I love the mix of pictures we have. . . especially the one from lex’s first birthday shoot- geeze that kid loves cake.

I wish i could brag about the room being all done- but its totally not! The wall with my desk on it is B A R E. Like really bare. SO bare i’m actually embarrassed to post a picture of it! And i have zero ideas of what should go there. . . someone come work their decorating magic for me?

*easy canvas prints sent me a canvas to review but all opinions are my own.
