hello erin »

valentines day is for little lovers.

This Valentines Day was made a little extra special by some bloggers and their adorable babes. Each day in the mail for the past few weeks i’ve rushed to the mailbox to discover some sort of uber fun DIY goodness in the form of a valentine. I would open them- then stash them away in lex’s pretty pink mailbox for her to open on valentines day. Once the day finally hit i was SO excited to give her a mailbox full of super fun valentines JUST FOR HER. I was secretly jealous because i’m pretty sure i never got anything half as cute as these when i was wee one.

She totally loved pulling them out of the box. one by one and inspecting them . . and yes. she’s wearing two different outfits. someone pulled a “toddler” on me and shut down halfway through. She kept asking for her nap. Crazy kid.

and for the record. lex didn’t get her ears pierced. . . yet (letsbehonest its just a matter of time).  those are just earring stickers!

SEE toddler. Here’s what i have to work with people. What does she think she is- almost two or something?

The other SUPER fun part of our exchange this time around was just for the mamas! We each drew names and gave a gift to one special mama. My pick was the seriously sweet, adorable, and fun Vanessa from Sunflower State of Mind. I got a little crafty with her gift and made her a heart garland, and send her a cookie stamp, and some washi tape. . . My super secret sweet valentine was veronika from veronika’s blushing. i was SO excited after ripping open the packaging to find some of my fav things- nail polish and lip gloss (lex calls it “clip glass”). I’m straight up obsessed with the essie pink- its seriously the PERFECT color. and i have a feeling i’ll be rockin’ it a LOT. I secretly love all the baby lips products- because they have just a hint of color- enough that my husband can’t steal them from me- yet not enough that lex can also wear the clip-glass too.

I LOVE the moms and babes who participated in our fun little exchange. A MAJOR thanks to all the sweet bloggers who participated in our fun little exchange. And and even bigger MASSIVE thanks to erinn for always setting our holiday fun up. She’s seriously one organized and awesome gal.

 Lex’s sweet & creative Valentines:

ashlynn & kenley from Strawberry Swing and Other Things. ethan from schue love. blair from Nat your average girl. carolyn & carson from hello! happiness. owen from meet the sullivans. owen & claire from dear owen. arden from sunflower state of mind. harper from veronika’s blushing. hudson from the girl in the red shoes. mac from running from the law. & sofia from hello newlywed life.
