this week i. . .
saw the way way back. and it was AWESOME. i cant remember the last time we rented a movie (because we’re lame, and its not summer so our DVR is actually alive and functioning).
had a moms night out to see divergant. . . a movie best seen without toddler and husband and instead seen with someone who has actually read the books. the movie was exceptionally good- my hats off to the casting director… And to the person who decided to omit the whole “butter knife incident”.
got my jean vest in the mail- and while my super sweet adoring husband thinks it looks like something i found at the salvation army dumpster in the 80’s- i think i just might keep it to prove him wrong. but if someone calls me “blossom” in his presence the jig’s up.
Sang “do you wanna build a snowman” acapella no less than 5,456 times- because apparently lex is a glutton for punishment. trust me, my voice just doesn’t compare to anna’s. And if you ask lex what happens in frozen she mutters something along the lines of “ana hit head, olaf, mean snowman. mommy build snowman?”. . . yup kid, #nailedit
asked lex a set of questions. . . and loved her answers. if you ever wondered what exactly it is mike and i do all day- just ask our toddler.
