although lex’s real birthday isn’t until tomorrow- she got to celebrate with all her besties over the weekend. we hosted a little party for her this weekend- and had a TON of fun. lex was totally a party princess, and knew the day was for her. there’s a fairly good chance she’s going to want to host a party every. single. weekend. i didn’t get as many pictures as i should have- i was way way too busy enjoying the part-ay and jumping with lex in the bounce house. . . but lets just say this was my hands-down-favorite party we’ve thrown. we did a “favorite things party” and let lex make all the decisions. she designed her cake, cupcakes, made all the choices, and we just celebrated lex and what she loves- nothing crazy, nothing over the top– just toddler heaven. Here are some of the deets.
lex picked out her own dress for the party. who am i to argue when she wanted to be a “party princess”. she showed off her “party dress” to anyone and everyone who walked through the door.
lex happens to be a HUGE fan of jamba juice. we get smoothies multiple times a week, so it was a no-brainer to have jamba for everyone.
we gave away homemade crayons and candy necklaces and bracelets for party favors.
and everyone got to make their own necklaces.
along with the sandbox, playhouse, water table, and castle bounce house. . . there were a lot of bubbles.
and of course there was cake. pink cake. with rainbow sprinkles. . . and cupcakes. and this is the face we get when we sing happy birthday to lex. she LOVES it.
overall? lex had hands down the best. birthday. party. ever. thank you to everyone who came to make her day so amazing and special!! we’re so happy to have such amazing family & friends!!
